Due to the successive
tyrants that came to power in the name of the people in the country, the
tedious struggle that the people of Ethiopia had waged for years failed in
achieving its wishes, it is being violated its rights and is now found in the
worst situation.
Especially, the government of EPRDF system that appeared having the
questions of the people believing its power
by nominating it self as a dominant party, betrayed the country oppressed people conducted
unrivaled bitter armed struggle to respect their independence and rights, the
paid sacrifice, the public aims for which they fought and the martyrs trust, suppressing the people in
a manner worse than the derg regime, treading the democratic and human rights
and blocking all the alternatives of peaceful and democratic struggle has
continued strengthening its dictatorial reign.
To be free as a people
from the dictatorial system it cannot be negated that the right path is the
public and only public struggle. In our county Ethiopia to rescue the country
and its people from tyrant EPRDF system, including armed, peaceful and
political struggle is being staged in every direction. The goal of the struggle
is, by eradicating the cause of suppressing democratic system in the country
which is the treacherous EPRDF system, to assure a peaceful and democratic
system thought active participation of the people.
Even thought the
struggle which is being conducted by a lot of political organizations has a
support of our organization, but since the struggle that we are holding
individually in every direction unable to move creating a unified power
forward, it could not gain the required outcome.
In this respect, among
the organizations that are conducting a victorious struggle are TPDM that is
the Tigray people’s democratic movement and the Ethiopian people’s for justice
and equality front which was formerly called south Ethiopian peoples for
justice and equality front, from the time yet it was being called south
Ethiopia peoples for justice and equality both organizations carrying the
questions of the people which have not been obtained an answer for centuries in
order to attain a due rejoinder we have been working together and by
participating and paying sacrifice
jointly in different battlefields we reached here carrying out our Share.
And now by evaluating
deeply the living condition of our country so that the burning questions the
people must get an answer that kept its time, instead of holding a struggle
separately creating a union and coordinating together for it is decisive and
timely, strengthening our cooperation until the aim of our struggle attain its goal
we announce to the oppressed people and its supporters that we are ready to pay
sacrifice.
As there is no basic difference of be it in program and aim in
both political organizations, so far we have been working together. As result,
since we have come discerning and observing the result of working
jointly, from September 18/ 2006E.c (September 28-2013) by passing on to union the successfully
developed relation and union that was in between both organizations, we decided
to move being one body.
On this occasion, we present our call to all opposition
political organizations to follow our footprint.
We present our call to all the people of Ethiopia that stood
along side of our struggle to keep its usual back up greatly.
